I want to get something right out of my chest as of right now.
BUT BEFORE WE BEGIN.
This could be a possible trigger warning and spoilers as well! Please do not read if you don't was to know minor spoilers or learn about the triplets childhood trauma.
To start off as well all know, or what I know and of to my opinion Cordelia was such a bad mom. Like I feel so bad for the triplets. The shit she put them through was not okay and it bothers me so much. I really don't understand why some people like her thought. I have literally met people who stan that woman and I lowkey wanted to punch them square in the face.
Lets not forget she was such a stuck up little b*tch. (I apologize for my strong language lmaoo). I really hated how she was taunt Beatrice and Christa. Like I hated her so much for doing that to them. Especially how it fucked up their minds and forcing their sons to be the best etc.
Honestly I don't understand what Karlheinz saw in her. I know for sure I wouldn't her anywhere near my kids or anywhere near somebody else's kid. To be honest the only thing running through my mind was 'where the hell are child services'.
Anyways shall we list all the things she had done to her own children?

So lets start with our first precious boiiii
Please keep in mind that these are my own opinions and thoughts of triplets and of course my opinion on Cordeila. You don't have to agree with me whether she was a bad mother or not but these are just my own opinions.
Ayato Sakamaki:
Now I know a few people hate him but I love him a lot. Even from when I first watched the anime I had this deep connection with him. (Mostly because we share similar childhood trauma) but I also loved his character etc.
As for Cordeila she was an abusive mother to Ayato. I'd like to say she also played mind games with him and was very manipulative as well. She would force him to study, inject his mind with this stupid goal of being the best, doing your best, having no flaws and become this perfect little vampire. Of course that is a lot to carry on your shoulders especially since he was just a little kid.
She would beat him up to the point where he could've died. Pushed him beyond his limits. She literally had a whole torturing system going on for little Ayato and what bothered me the most is that nobody stopped her from doing this to him. Of course there was also the part where she had nearly drowned him because he wasn't living to her expectations. I hate her so much for causing so much trauma to Ayato which of course reflects off of how he acts now as an adult. In a way it's not his fault that he is the way he is. Cordeila should've raised him right. Love him and nurture him for who is etc. All he wanted was his love and affection from his mother. And for her to be proud of him.
Now moving onto Kanato.
Kanato is...well he's special and of course he has his own trauma and things he had dealt with when he was a child. While I watched the anime around 14-15 I always had this weird thought that out of the three brothers Cordeila treated Kanato better due to the fact she would call him her little Songbird or have him sing her songs etc. But it turns out...
She also treated Kanato like shit.
She would make him sing over and over again till his throat ached and she was very turned on by it too which is so disgusting like this woman needs some therapy or maybe getting locked away in the insane asylum. She would even have sex or do nasty shit with Ritcher all in front of Kanato which is something NO ONE SHOULD DO IN FRONT OF A CHILD!!!! I know this is all fictional but it pisses me off so much like I just want to punch her in the face.
She basically neglected him, abused his voice and I'm sure if he had ever denied to sing for her she probably would force him to sing and it's just so sad. What sucks even more that Kanato would do anything to grab her attention but of course the only thing she ever found interesting about him or whenever she did give him the attention he wanted was only when he would want him to sing for her.
Once again she failed as a mother with Kanato, and looking back when I first started the anime I never fully understood why Kanato acted the way he did but now after learning so much as the years went on I came to an understanding. Childhood trauma sucks bro.
Now...
Laito's childhood was the one childhood that made my skin crawl. I was litterally in tears after learning more about Laito and it only made my hate Cordeila even more. The shit she did to her own son makes me sick to the stomach. As far as things go, I really feel like Laito had it worse. (Now that's just my opinion please don't bite my head off).
To be honest I always found it weird of how Cordeila and Laito's relationship was like and how it was built. (Keep in mind this was before I read more on Laito). I just had an icky feeling about it and BAM! Later on down the road I figured out of what the sick witch had done to him.
Short story short she basically groomed her son. What's even more disgusting about is that Ritcher was totally chill with it. But I'm going to assume Karlheinz didn't know too much about it cause he threw his own son in the dungeon after knowing that Laito had done it with his own mother. And then she had the audacity to go up to his cell and hook up with Ritcher right in front of him!!!
Cordeila was very twisted and really messed up his head. He didn't look at her as a mother but as a lover which resulted him to kill off any man or woman or to whoever Cordeila batted her eyes at. But with an exception of her making him promise that he wouldn't kill Ritcher. But!!!!! At the end of season 1 of the anime Diabolik Lovers he finally kills Ritcher; burning him and his mother's dress that his uncle had kept from years ago after the triplets had killed their mother.
To be honest it's so gross to even think about. Just all that he went through and that this shit actually does happen to children, young teens etc. I just want to know what was going through her mind when she had done this to her own children. What the actual f*ck Cordeila. So if you so happen to wonder why Laito is the way he is now. Just ask his dear old mother. She's the one who caused him to become the way he is. But don't get me wrong. I love Laito. I think he's a charmer and can be very sweet and loving in his own little way.
As much as I can say...these boys have been through a lot and I honestly just want to give them a huge hug. Would I possibly (most likely) be killed in attempts of doing so?
Do I care?
